Bruntsfield offers a very warm welcome to all our visitors and guests. We believe that you will enjoy our challenging yet rewarding Open Qualifying layout and the heritage and history on show within our clubhouse which dates back to 1761, making Bruntsfield the fourth oldest golf club in the world.

It is advisable for visitors to book in advance to guarantee your tee time, however visitors can enquire in the Bruntsfield pro shop on the date of play subject to playing restrictions.
Visitors may use the driving range and putting green where complimentary practice balls are available for those booked into play. The driving range is not available for members of the public unless a tee time has been booked.
We offer a comprehensive range of catering at Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society. Breakfast is available daily from 8.30am and our all day menu is available in our lounges and terrace offering classics like Haddock and chips, our Rustic Club sandwich and home baking. Our well stocked bar has a range of great Scottish draught beers including an alcohol free IPA from Brew Dog and a growing collection of Scottish gin.
Our beautiful dining room which offers extensive views over the golf course and Firth of Forth is open on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday for lunch. Our A la carte menu features our famous carvery, serving the best of Scottish lamb and beef. Our wine list has been carefully chosen to compliment our dining room menu and will delight those who prefer a classic and elegant selection. Booking is essential for the dining room.
Guests and visitors are required to have a valid handicap.
At Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society we are committed to a pace of play of 3 hrs 45mins for 18 holes which will ensure that all golfers enjoy playing the course in a reasonable time.

Our dress code for members, visitors and guests ensures that everyone can feel comfortable at all times, both in the Clubhouse and on the Course.
Please use our changing rooms which can be accessed through the automatic entry doors at the front and rear of the clubhouse.

In the clubhouse mobile phones and similar devices may only be used for calls in the corridor immediately outside the Professional shop. Otherwise, mobile phones or other devices can be used in the clubhouse but only in silent mode for data purposes. They may be used on the course for medical emergencies.

Bruntsfield Links provides an exclusive setting for a society or corporate golf day 15 minutes from Edinburgh city centre. Our team can promise an outstanding day on our Open Qualifying standard course and first class clubhouse catering and service.
We can provide a full and comprehensive Tournament administration service. Before, during and after play we can offer a full range of catering services in our lounges, the dining room or our private
Sandy Watson room, which has wonderful displays of Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society's golfing memorabilia including hickory clubs, featherie balls as well as some historic paintings.
